photographic art focuses on the scenic aspect of land and sea. Many of his works were captured in Montauk and the East End. He has received numerous awards for his work which is in public and private collections. His work has been published in books and has appeared on annual report covers and on the covers of national publications including Boating Magazine, Rudder Magazine, and Venture Magazine. After receiving a degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, DeGroom became an advertising photographer in NYC. He also served in the US Army as a photographer. During the course of his career, he has worked with Andy Warhol, and Look magazine’s former director of photography, Arthur Rothstein.

Seagrass Cove is located in Montauk, NY across from the movie theatre at 54 South Erie Avenue. Seagrass Cove is a United Nations of imports from throughout the ages; European and Asian antiques, Vietnamese Art, a large selection of Italian jewelry, and local art and photography.
